Our restaurant is famous for its excellent cuisine and for the variety of dishes available to satisfy all tastes. Our courses propose a well balanced combination of meat and fish dishes. Starting with the antipasti, guests will be delighted by a large variety of first and second courses prepared with original creativity by Restaurant Grigna's chef. Regional cuisine offers a great choice of delicious antipasti, first and second courses and home-made desserts, here you can find some menu:

Starting from the antipasti and first courses our chef’s specialties are: meat, sea and lake fish antipasti, garganelli alle perle di mare (home made pasta with seafood), pizzoccheri valtellinesi ( pasta made with buckwheat flour cooked along with greens, potatoes and bitto cheese), pappardelle with game ragù. With regard to meat dishes our kitchen proposes tagliata con rucola (thin sliced beef with rocket), deer salmì (cooking in salmì, is a traditional technique for marinating game), mixed grilled meat with vegetables. Lake bass with asparagus and shrimps, mixed grilled fish, turbot with porcini mushrooms and potatoes characterise our fish menu.

The Tavern

Our Tavern , created in the ancient rooms used once as the cellars of the restaurant, is the ideal place to spend relaxing moments during afternoons or evenings, to celebrate special occasions or to enjoy an intimate dinner. Visible stone walls, ancient wood and the fine play of light work to create a warm and soft atmosphere. Wrought iron lamps and the ancient cellar well personalize the little drawing room. The dining room with 16 seats is characterized by a large wood table and the fireplace, overtopped by a secular larch timber and enriched by old hand tools. The bar is also a very quaint. The counter of the bar is one of the ancient cellar’s counter tops. You can still see the indelible imprints left by the bottles…

The Garden

Our spacious and elegant dining room can host a maximum of 150 people and is the ideal place for weddings or other ceremonies, business lunches or simply to share a pleasant meal with your dear ones with the absolute certainty of a great quality cuisine and an excellent service provided by our friendly and polite personnel. During summertime our garden is suitable for refreshing meals shaded by a centenary horse-chestnut and by the “Grigna”, the mountain that gives name to our restaurant. A smaller gracious internal courtyard with 40 seats is also available.
